Friday Night with Friends…

Isn’t it unfortunate, and a little backwards, that once you have kids, you don’t see even your best friends as often?  Dinner with these wonderful people used to be an every other week affair until we started poppin’ out kiddos… now its every other month (if we’re lucky) that we get together.  And we always swear we’ll do it more often, but then life happens and it may be fall before we hook up again.  Of course, this is a time when I’d LOVE to be wrong…

 Jen has always been willing to hold the babes, even once she had her own…

Wouldn’t be one of our get-togethers without stories and beer…

 And of course, dessert… is it okay to give kiddos Kaluha cake??? Oh, well… they loved it.

Thank goodness for these rugrats finally being able to blow off some pent up energy!

Um, well, then this happened, just in time to head home.  He didn’t even care that he got sprayed off with a freezing cold hose… he thought it was totally worth it. (Sorry if you’re offended by seeing a three-year-old in Cars undies…)
